Principal’s message
At Viola Desmond we work hard to create a community of leaders, allies and innovative thinkers. As we work through the challenges of our current situation we are continuing to focus on these objectives with our students, along with a heavy focus on health and well-being.
Success, well-being, leadership, equity, engagement and innovation are the guiding principles of the Durham District School Board. At Viola Desmond we value each of these areas and use them to create an environment where all students can be successful and heard.
